It is all a fine line. There are other options. In the past children get to bounce on a small trampoline, ride bicycles in the hallway, test in rooms alone. all supported good things. a seclusion room used for punishment is bad because it reinforces negative behavior. If I want quiet I need to be bad. Can be used to avoid, work or situations that are less preferable. Or worse I am bad I derserve this room.
