Guest guest
I am finally on treatment. I meant to get in here sooner but did not manage it. I took my second shot of pegysis thursday night and feel okay. The first day is sort of okay but I tend to over do that day because I dont notice it so much and really pay by that night and Friday. Its seems other than twenty four hours of body aches and chills the only bad side so far is headaches. I get wonderful bed drenching sweats at night. Not fun but not a bad side affect. Its one I can live with. I see my dr weekly on Tuesdays so running to a hospital two hours away once a week. Expensive. We had a bit of a problem when first going to start it. My insurance..both of them by the way..refused the script because it was above their cap. My drs nurse spent an entire day on the phone off and on with the primary and finally go approval from them and the pharmacist spent two hours on the phone with Champus to get the deductible covered. So instead of a very very impossibly high cost I am getting them free. I thank God for those two wonderful ladies. The pharmacist did not have to do that. Anyway, all in all I feel well. I have not read posts so am not sure what is happening here. I have been running like a chicken with my head cut off because of my mother not driving anymore and the kids have been sick so that has been my life. It causes me to be beyond exhausted and I end up in bed by 9:30 most nights. I take the meds at 9:00 each night and morn. So far only messed up my time once. I hope all are well here and will go now to check on the posts. Thank you for being here as I am told it will worsen by week 4. I was so happy last week when I felt so good, the dr rained on my parade when she drew me a diagram of how the meds work..miserable by then most likely she said. Gee, wonderful...NOT. lol. Everyone take care. beckyray
