Guest guest
How was 's Dr. appointment? JenSubject: Monday WorkoutTo: Cathe_Friedrich_Fans , exercisevideos , fitandthatsit Date: Monday, February 20, 2012, 8:19 AM Good morning! Today there wasn't any school (Presidents Day) I STILL got up early. One, I couldn't sleep (what's new, right?) and two, goes to the doctor first thing. Anyway, I did The Firm Aerobic Weight Training. This one is led by Allie Del Rio. They use the transfirmer. I just used my high step and lowered and raised it when needed. It worked fine for me. The cardio sections are really kind of boring to me. For the weight sections I used 5, 12, 15, 20 DB. Mostly all of it was too short too feel anything. Even though, I still thought this workout was fun. She does A LOT of moves so you're constantly doing something. I burned 337 calories, avg 130, max 161, steps 2,900 I have 2 more workouts after this one to do and I'll have them all done. Have a great day!~~

Guest guest
Great way to put it, and I agree - I'm more of a simple, traditional lifter, so it's fun to switch it up once in awhile with the compound movements and other exercises I'd never do on my own either! I keep wanting to try this series but have been in gym mode lately.. Good morning! To finish out the month I'm going to do the rest of the Longevity workouts from Traci Long. I have 3 left and that's exactly how many days are left in this month. I did " Back Up " this morning. This was harder then I anticipated. I was out of breath a lot. I used 10 and 5 DB and my 3 lb ball. Traci's workouts are different and I do enjoy them but only occasionally. I do think I need her in my library because I feel like I'd never do anything like these workouts otherwise. I burned 383 calories, avg 140, max 173, steps 2,288 Have a great day!~~
Guest guest
Sounds very tough, I hope it was fun! ] Monday Workout Good morning! This morning started a new rotation. Glad I have something down ahead. I got really tired of winging it there for a while. Today I did Cathe's KPC/L & G premix. This one was Kickbox Drills,Standing Leg work, Abs. OMG, was it ever hard. The first part is from KPC and she does the warm up and high intensity drills. There is a lot of jumping and then you go straight to L & G and right from the get go she does leg presses. I think this is where my heart rate got the highest. I was really breathing. I burned 482 calories, avg 150, max 188, steps 4,446 Have a great day!~~
Guest guest
Good morning! Went to bed last night looking forward to a workout this morning, but when morning came it was a different story. I pressed on and did Step Surge. I did all of it except for the abs. I was running behind just trying to get the actual workout in. I was determined to at least do that. I used 8's for all of the weight sections. Those weight sections get to be pretty tough, I have to say. I've been having a hurting in my elbow for a few weeks now and this morning it let me know that it's getting worse. says I have "Tennis Elbow" ??? anyone ever have this? Not sure what to do about it or if there is anything I can do about it. When I first started feeling it it would only hurt when I lifted something heavy. This morning after the weight segments if was not only hurting, but felt achy and stiff too. I just got through putting sheets in the washer and it let me know about it. GRRRRRRRR. If anyone has any fixes for this please pass it on to me. With doing the whole workout without the abs I burned 453 calories, avg 147, max 170, steps 4,834. Have a great day!~~

Guest guest
HI , Sorry about your elbow! Basically, I think Tennis Elbow is tendonitis in the elbow - it could come from doing a lot of repetitive motions w/ your arms. I think the only thing that helps is letitng it rest - maybe also some ice to decrease the infammation and some type of anti-inffammatory (ibuprofen, etc.) Hope it feels better!Donna Subject: Monday WorkoutTo: Cathe_Friedrich_Fans , exercisevideos , fitandthatsit Date: Monday, March 12, 2012, 8:36 AM Good morning! Guest guest
Thanks Donna. Yeah, I'm going to try not to put a lot of weight on it for the next few days and see if it gets better.~~ Sent from my Thunderbolt 4GLTE ----- Reply message -----To: <exercisevideos >Subject: Monday WorkoutDate: Mon, Mar 12, 2012 10:13 am HI ,Sorry about your elbow!
