LONG - PY day 17 - long lean and power push

today was day 17 (of 28) of project you and 'long lean' was

scheduled.

so i put it in and thought how repetitive the cardio workouts

are... geeze this is the same warmup as the cardio from last

week :/ but wait! did that backgrounder just say the same dumb

line that he said last week in 'power push'?!? hmm...

whoops, found 'power push' tucked safely away in my dvd case...

apparently i neglected to pull it out at the start of the

rotation. so last week i did long lean instead of power push!

LOLOL. and the comments i made last week about power push

were about a different workout ::blush::

so....

long lean --> not one of my favourites... liked parts of it,

disliked other parts. too much repetition!! however there is a

nice man in the back named 'T' who i like to follow ;) no andre.

power push --> kathy wears a bright red outfit which hurt my

eyes. T is in this workout too, which helps. kathy takes the

cardio exercises from foundation and adds sets of increased

impact to create cardio intervals. i got on my rebounder to do

some of the stuff and ended up just staying on there, it was more

fun than doing the video.

because i watched the video while i was on the rebounder, i got

to catch this gem, which goes something like this....

: kathy is leading one of the harder intervals and she says 'jump

big, get high'

: after a few reps, T says 'kathy i like getting high'

: kathy responds 'i like getting high too'

then there is dead silence for a few beats, T and kathy look at

each other, i burst out laughing. she recovers and carries on :)

anyway all of these cardio workouts are the same moves, just

presented in different ways. everyone will change outfits for

each workout, a couple of the backgrounders will change places

and a few others will come and go. that is basically how i tell

these workouts apart now...LOL.

so after that fiasco, i go to the deli for the evening shift

which consists of 5 hrs of cleaning and waiting on pesky

customers who interrupt it. the good part is i work by myself

and can take an extra break near the end of the shift :)

after that i did some grocery shopping for 45 mins and finally

left the grocery store 9500 steps richer.

so i get home and sync my fitbit. total steps so far today

19,800 !! whoa! that has to be my highest ever and i know it

is in part due to the rebounding. the drag part is, i need

20,000 to get my badge... if i miss it then i will be mad. so

here it is 1230am and im going to walk in place to get 200

steps...LOL
