Guest guest
HI , I feel like I have been sick A LOT this winter. I think I caught something before xmas, then again in January, and now, this round. That is a lot for me. I wonder if the milder winter and the weird weather changes are to blame? This last round was the worst, though. I hope it past. I'm going to take it easy the rest of the week before I go back to tougher workouts and my run/walk program. Donna Subject: easy weekTo: exercisevideos Date: Tuesday, March 6, 2012, 9:33 AM Everybody is sick at work, and I'm fighting another cold. The woman who sits across from me has been through 3 bad respiratory infections in the past 3 months. Nonstop coughing. I'm calling my part of the office The Hot Zone. That explains why it was so hard for me to wake up yesterday and today. I'm taking the intensity down a little. That means that I'm walking instead of cycling, and doing yoga instead of weights. I think I can fight this one off. I can't remember which day it was, but I did Suzanne Deason's Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss for the first time in ages. I'm so happy to report that I had no more head irritation from any forward bends. I have to admit that I was still afraid to try them. I also didn't have any problem with the planks I did the other day with MBS. That would have flattened me a few months ago. So glad that's gone! The yoga felt so good. I have lost some flexibility in my shoulders and hamstrings, so I'm going to keep at it.
