I didn't get home until late (12:30) last night because my mom fell and had a nasty concussion. I spent most of the evening in the ER until they got a room to keep her overnight. She has some minor bleeding on the brain, that they expect to stop by itself, but want to closely monitor it "just in case." (Mom's 87, with dementia.)The dementia really complicates diagnosing a head injury, and whether she's "with it" or not. The doctors asked her questions like, "How old are you?" (51) and "What year is this?" (1948) and look to us, asking if that is "normal." Also, she complains to Dad about the terrible headache, and tells the doctor she has no pain... ("What about the headache?" "Oh, yes...that...yes, my head hurts.")I don't think I'll get a regular workout in today. As soon as Dad's up, we'll be heading to the hospital. I think it's going to be a long day, again... Prayers would be most

Indy your in my prayers. Having MS which affects my cognitive abilities (I feel like I have dementia some days) I can relate to your mom. Unless specifically asked what hurts you forget even though you hurt. I know it sounds crazy, but you hurt but its something you can't put your finger on, because it can be hard to get the thoughts or words out.

Oh, I'm so sorry about your mom indyrose. My dad fell out on the ice last year and had some bruising on his brain. He fell on the corner of some bricks and it cut him on his temple. It also blacked his eye. Very scary. ~~ Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4GLTE smartphone----- Reply message -----To: <exercisevideos >Subject: Day starting off poorlyDate: Thu, Feb 23, 2012 8:26 am I didn't get home until late (12:30) last night because my mom fell and had a nasty concussion.
