Guest guest
Dreamer, So often it happens in families that one person bears the responsibilities of aging parents. It figures that YOU are the one to take this responsibility in spite of a rocky childhood. You have so much on your plate right now. I hope your siblings will step up to the plate and help out. If not, your mom will have to be more co- operative and allow the home heath aids to help more. I will keep you, Ray and all of your family in my prayers. I hope Jimmy's eye heals quickly. I'm sorry you have so much to deal with and hope things get better for everyone. a On Nov 1, 2005, at 8:55 AM, dreamer_plus wrote: > some might remember, I have been living on my mothers sofa the last > 5 weeks, she has terminal lung cancer metatasized to her brain? > Sadly my 4 siblings who live much closer and one has their kids > already grown and one has no kids at all yet....they have been NO > help at all, in spite of mom having kicked me out of her home when > I was 12 and her having put them thru college (PhDs) They do not > even visit now that mom cannot babysit their kids or dogs anymore..... > well, I had to send them this email this morning. > Please keep my hubby in your prayers? > Ray was admitted to the VA hospital in North Chicago (Great Lakes) > late last nite with sepsis, erratic blood pressure, respiratory > distress and pneumonia. Guest guest
You have sooo much on your plate right now. That's awful that your siblings won't help out with your mom. Especially now, when YOU are in need. I'm sooo sorry about your mom. Now your hubby is ill !! When it rains it pours!! Hopefully the respiratory distress and erratic blood pressure will resolve as they treat the sepsis and pneumonia. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Make sure you take care of yourself during all this. I know it is easy to forget about ourselves when we have so much going on in our lives, but it is VERY important. Easier said than done, I know. Take care.....Prayers and Gentle Hugs...Marina > > some might remember, I have been living on my mothers sofa the last 5 weeks, she has terminal lung cancer metatasized to her brain?
