Guest guest
I am new here; I am having a hard time sorting out what the heck is going on wtih me. Neurologists have diagnosed me with multiple sclerosis and prescribed Avonex - which I opted not to take, because of side effects. A rheumatologist diagnosed me with lupus, becasue of high ANA (1:320), Anti-smith & Anti- SSA antibodies & joint pain, rash etc. Another rheumatologist diagnosed me wtih fibromyalgia, and my internist diagnosed me with lupus & chronic fatigue syndrome. Is it possible to have all of these at once???? I saw the fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome when I saw my med records - they never even told me about these. Is it possible I have these and not lupus & MS? I am taking plaquenil, which has helped with joint pain, but am still struggling. Any information is welcome. It is very confusing with so many diagnoses, and doctors not explaining a damn t hing!
