Guest guest
Hi guys, Please find below a great deal for companies/social clubs to go and sail for a day with the proceeds going towards Aids in Africa. You could even go with family/friends but the deal is for weekdays so this may be difficult to organise unless everyone takes a day off work. The website offers more details – www.sail4africa.org Hi everyone,Sharon wanted me to tell you about an invitation for you to come sailing on Sydney Harbour to raise money to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa.I sailed to Australia for the millennium with my wife and teenage daughters in a 60-foot yacht we built in England, in our back garden. On the way we journeyed 200 miles up West Africa's Gambia River to deliver aid supplies for the UK equivalent of The Fred Hollows Foundation. We also took materials to a number of South Pacific Islands. We now run the yacht professionally in Sydney as a sailing school I've promised to raise $50,000 for The Foundation - a charity started by an amazing man, , former UN special envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa - to help women affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa or their orphans and the heroic grandmothers who struggle to bring them up.All through 2007, I will be running a special sailing day each week and all the money raised from these days, except $1 per person, will godirectly to the Foundation. These sailing days will be for groups of 6 to 8 and cost $151 per person for the whole day. Sailing on Sydney Harbour is a fantastic experience and it would be great to see some groups from your line of business having a terrific day out, while helping women and kids in Africa. If you are the at all interested in getting a group together, just email me or give me a call. Let's change somebody's luck over there in AfricaCheers, Edington0405 430525For more information on Sailing to Fight HIV/AIDS in Africa, visit www.Sail4Africa.org
