Guest guest Posted November 21, 2005 Report Share Posted November 21, 2005 Hi Cami, I also have the lumps.I am 50 years old and have had them since my early thirties.They used to be pea sized and not at all painfull.Now some are small and some are kiwi size and all in between sizes.Many are painful now.Most are on my upper legs but I have a few small bumps on my wrists,arm and bottom of my feet.I am also very new to this disease and am still trying to find a GOOD rheumy so I hope this helps because I feel like I'm certainly no expert.But I will gladly share any and all information that I have or am experiencing! As far as the feeling of bruises,I think it is more related to my muscles than my joints....although it sure all feels like one giant connected pain.I swear you can just touch my upper arms to hug me and it hurts terribly.
