I had the pleasure of working out at Studio LouLou today with a member of Cascade Athletic Club, a group fitness enthusiast named Liz.  I got to introduce her to HIIT, which kicked my butt as well as hers. After a quick warmup from Hip Hop Hustle #10 we did, 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off:

mountain climbersspeed skatersstep upspushupsone minute rest, repeat one more time, then:jumprope (with a rope, not the air)kettlebell swingsjacksplankone minute rest, repeat one more time

Lastly we stretched with the stretch dvd from the X-Train Fit system and it was nice, mostly yoga stretches for the legs and lower body, which I desperately needed.Well, she told people on the Facebook group that she had a good time and this it was tough, so now the attention is all on me, heh heh.  I'm starting to get more questions about Turbo Kick and I really hope they will let me teach a class one Friday night when they have nothing on the schedule, just an informal freebie.  I really love both Group Kick and Body Combat but I must say Turbo Kick is much harder cardio wise and you will burn more calories with it.  And I'm an egomaniac and it would be fun to be on stage again just for fun.  And there you are truly on a carpeted stage, and you face the class 100% of the time so it will be fun to cue completely backwards and mirror, which I did sometimes at 24H but not for the whole hour.

Back to work tomorrow... here's to getting up at 6:00 after getting up at noon these past few days!  Aie!
