As of yesterday, I'm up to 15 meds. Its getting so tiring, even taking them all seems like a chore. At this point it can only get better from here and I'm trying to concentrate on one day at a time. The weather up here has been a bit crazy also. I live in Lake Placid, NY.... the other day we had two feet of snow. Today it was 54 degrees... mother nature is playing jokes on us. I hope you are having a good day. Take care and God bless. kerri sue mike nelson <winchester19572004@...> wrote: hi kerri i went though the same thing for years until i got the right meds. and sorry to say it might be you have to take more meds. i had to change rheumys to get really straightened around . i'm on 8 differant meds. now . life still isn't a bowl of cherrys . and again where i live it's chnging seasons to fall . the weather has alot to do with it to. but since you've been hurt that long . I would see your rheumy and see about adding more meds. I know i HATE to take all the pills i do but if it wasn' for that i woould most likely be in a wheelchair by now. good luck hope you get something to ease the pain.. mike kerri paquette <ksp2242@...> wrote: How do I know if something is RA related or not... My foot has been hurting (like I sprained it, but I didn't) for about four days now. Its hurts to walk on it. the pain in my hands and feet is almost unbearable, do I just suffer like this until my next appointment? Is there really anything else they can do? for pain I take, hydrocodone and baclofen, my RA med right now is Arava.... waiting to heal so I can start Humira. Everyone here talks of flares and such not... Some days for me are worse than others, but I haven't had a good day in two years... I'm beginning to wonder if I'm just crazy. The last thing I want is another med, but lately I pray for God to take me cuz at least then I'd get some sleep. My rheumy is happy to let my GP prescribe my pain meds but I think my GP thinks that I'm just a drug seeker. last time I asked him for something other than or more of the vicodin he said no.... Isn't that my patient right to be medicated properly for pain? Rash has broken out again on my knees... anyone know what this could be? I'm frustrated now grrrrrrr, lol. Hope everyone is having an enjoyable day. kerri sue --------------------------------- FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click.
