I have a son that is bipolar and when he got his measle vaccine

he had to be rushed to the Emergency room.He was in the hospital

in a coma like state for 2 days...a 'reaction' to the shot.I

swear,he was never the same kid.

My other son went into convulsions after he received his 2nd

DPT vaccine.Again,rushed to the ER.We were told he was

'allergic' to the shot and never received anymore.It's scary and

there needs to be more testing done concerning these dangerous

vaccines we are forced to pump into our babies.

How heartbreaking! In the 70's and early 80's when I was studying education at

UNM it was unusual to see a child on the autistic spectrum. For my special ed

class I had to get in a bus and drive quite a ways to visit a school for

autistic kids. As I'm thinking now I can think of at least 8 children who have

autistic tendencies that I know well enough to have held in my arms. At a

recent workshop I was attending to renew my daycare license a woman asked about

how common autism was and the lady running the program said that it's just that

they are diagnosed more often now and they don't hide them away like they used

to. Some of us who had been in the childcare business for more than 25 years

just looked at each other and shook our heads. They're in denial! There really

are more children with those problems.

I don't pretend to know why or what it means, but I feel sure that a portion of

the problem is the chemicals we casually introduce into their little systems,

whether by vaccines, meds or food additives, etc. It's such a can of worms

because there are so many factors in a person's life that could be affecting

him. I read that some of the medications we take are impossible to fully remove

from the water supply when they recycle and purify water. They said birth

control pills were a particular problem according to the article and I remember

wondering about the people I know who have fertility problems. I wish I

remember where I saw that article.

My guess is that every one of us with an autoimmune disease got messed up by

exposure to something somewhere.

Thinking about it is making me too glum. Sorry. It's more fun to hear about

everyone's pajamas.

tomorrow was originally dx'ed bipolar several years ago, but recently dx has

been changed to autistic. (as have many other bipolar kids)

I agree with you, more testing needs to be done.....not just with vaccines, but

ALL meds. Oh boy did antidepressants do their nasty tricks on my child,

too......
