Guest guest
don't feel guilty asking for help or if he gives the impression that he's annoyed - so what! You're hurting and he should be helping. My hubby doesn't help and I just do what I can, which isn't much, and if he complains oh well! much love and strength, barb k. hels78 <hels78@...> wrote: hi all, have had a bad day with hubbie today over stupid things like vacumming. Guest guest
I do what I can, when I feel like and when i don't, I don't. I work full time too and if he wants it done and I haven't done, then his hands are not broken, he can do it himself. I use selective hearing these days and I will be using it more and more with the inlaws etc. I have been trying to get my house cleaned up so I can enjoy my time at home on thanksgiving when I bail out after I eat. LOL. I will be killing with kindness as you all have suggested, There you go, my two cents. Cassy/ > hi all, have had a bad day with hubbie today over stupid things like > vacumming. Guest guest
Cassy, LOL! I'm with you! When I was working full-time, up until 3 months ago, I was the same way. I just couldn't do everything by myself. I found towards the end of my employment that it was all I could do just to go to work (3rd shift) every night...let alone do anything else! I have 'spurts' where I'll feel pretty good & I'll do a massive, detailed cleaning of the house, cook great meals, bake, etc. Then it just all falls apart. I use kindness & selective hearing with my family too (except hubby & stepson). My father-in-law has emphysema & is in a wheelchair & on oxygen full-time. He gets it & we've had some talks. My mother-in- law acts totally put out having to care for him & has told my hubby & I on more than one occasion she'll be glad when it's over. Makes me sick. He hates being that dependant & he didn't ask to be disabled...I just want to scream at her sometimes! LOL! In her defense though, he can be a real jerk sometimes...especially on his 'bad' days. But, then again, so can I. LOL! Cami > > hi all, have had a bad day with hubbie today over stupid things > like > > vacumming. Guest guest
Cami, Thanks for " getting it " . I am hoping to finish my overhaul cleaning today, I have a list. We will see if work completly sucks me dry. Just a few more things and I can be happy with for now. I use provigil for the fatigue and nausea. It helps, but i dont take it on the weekend so I can give my body a chance to rest normally, well as normal as it can get now. LOL. Guest guest
Uh, OH.........you were suposed to have saline........ Maybe that is why they went back to the company that made them......they shouldnt have tho, as they belong to you. This is a very fishy story........something is NOT right here. All implants are silicone, but they are filled with different things, either silicone or saline......YOU NEED TO KNOW what is going on.......this is far too fishy ! ! Do any of them know that you were in forensics ? ? I would tell them to not insult your intelligence, that you want the truth and you want it now. Guest guest
To add on, just to show the incompetence of the professionals I am dealing with, the pathologists who examined my implants and tissue stated they had received 2 SILICONE implants. I had saline. I am so mad at myself for not waiting and trying to save up the 3-4 thousand to see another surgeon. > > I had my doctor appointment. Guest guest
Qiessence, I'm so sorry you had such a frustrating experience. Grrrr, these medical professionals can be so heartless and callous.... We are hear to lend a caring shoulder. This is very, very difficult, and you need to know that others are there for you and have been down this road. Do you have support where you are? People who can help take care of your physical needs? HOw demanding is your job, in terms of interaction with others? I wish you could stay home as long as you need for recuperation...it is desireable when your immune system is obviously overburdened. Here is what I can suggest: Make sure you stay away from stressful people and situations. Don't allow stress to become elevated. Do you have a stressful job? As often as you can, get horizontal. When you have a break, lay down. Lay down when you get home. Meditate on good thoughts, healing thoughts, and trust that you will have an eventual resolution of your health concerns. This is not the end of the world. We have seen other women recover who were bedridden. It will take time, but taking care of your stress levels and making sure you don't overtax yourself are vital. Don't use coffee or other stimulants. But do use supplements that will be helpful with energy, judging their effectiveness after a fair trial. These may include B-12, whole foods supplements, anti- oxidants, NAC, thyroid meds. Be sure you are aware of foods that make you feel sluggish, and avoid them. Can you consider coffee enemas? They are effective for pain reduction...if you need references I can provide them. There is likely to be no medical explanation for your illness. I did not have one for mine. I decided to forego doctors and the aggravation them promoted in me. I don't know if you can do the same with your history, and I can't tell you what to do, but I did not leaning on them too heavily, knowing that I would be disappointed when my expectations were not met. I know the fight to get care saps your energy, but don't give up. Just don't put energy where energy doesn't produce results. Keep us informed of your needs...we'll try to help. Guest guest
Dede is absolutely correct....you need to find out if indeed these were saline or silicone gel. You may find out that you were duped upon implant and they switched with something you didn't know you were getting. Boy, oh boy, we know that has happened far too often.
