Guest guest
Roy, You have a legal right to copies of any information concerning your health. If requested they Must Provide you with test results, doctors notes, etc. If they are ornery they might charge you for the copies, but they cannot deny you. Don’t let them BS you or leave you hanging. I think I’d call today to get the test results over the phone. If they drag their feet just tell them you have had patience for three months and have just run out. The next time you are around their office, go in and ask for copies of everything you don’t already have. It really is important to keep your medical records. If I remember right, a doctor’s office will only keep those records for seven years. But in the mean time they will send them to storage after X amount of time. I’ve tried to get someone to get my records out of storage, it was like trying to drag a mule. I waved the ‘legal rights’ at them but it did no good. I never did get those records. Thank you for the information. It’s been three months since I had my biopsy and ain't nobody ever informed me anything about that. No news is good news I guess. I get more info from you people then anybody else. Roy
