Even if the tape recorder is on the table, a lot of times, they forget it's

there if you just keep talking. If you can get other people to be " on your

side " in numbers, that helps some too. Can you get her SLP, OT, a home

consultant, an advocate or any other professionals involved in your

daughter's life that can be there? If not this one, but any other meetings

you're bound to have in the future?

I know of a lawyer in San Diego who used to live in AZ that has a son with

autism. She has won many battles for families in AZ. Maybe she could do a

consult over the phone?

Hi there,

My name is . I have been lurking in the shadows for some time

and finally decided to out myself. :)

I am 40 years of age and currently 122kilos. I start my Pre-op

Optifast diet today for my procedure on the 12th.

No nerves or anything yet.

The most interesting thing I've learnt so far is that fizzy drinks can

expand your stomach by as much as 400%. This of course made stop

drinking my soda water immediately. (I always assumed that as it was

just soda water it was okay.)
