I don't have pain alot but lately it seems to be more often. I try to ignore it

but I don't want to get worse. Have you done anything about it? What stage of

liver disease are you in. That probably has alot to do with it.

its pretty much a constant pain. sounds weitrd when you say your pleen hurts but

darn it it does! i am end stage liver disease beyone treatment at this point

waiting for a transplant. im next up is what my tran coordina says so any day

now. hopkns is a good placce so i hope ill b ok. having lots of kidney pain

today thats not normal for me. nothing helps w pain but they did give me rx for

tramedol? but i can take as i hacve two young girls and need to be unmedicated

so they dont destroy my house :)robbi in md

tramadol to me is a "Wanna be pain med" A couple aspirin will do the same in Nevada"If people were meant to pop out of bed, we'd all sleep in

Robbi, I too am ESLD, I was on the t p list from June of '07 til last Oct - mainly because the docs found a lump & assumed it was cancer. They couldn't biopsy it because of the position it was in & the condition of my liver - lots of nodules & scarring. . . My spleen is enlarged but so far I have no pain, just as well - they won't give me painkillers of any kind. What I do have is constant pressure. I can't sit, walk, sleep - anything - without something pressing on it from the outside (I'm thinking of getting a brace or something that would keep pressure on it without me thinking of it all the time) Hope your pain lessens or you get your t p soon.SuZie

Hi Robbi, They took me off the list when they decided that I didn't have cancer after all. I'm

Canadian & never did get a MELD score - we do things a little differently up here :-) My docs are keeping an eye on the lump. So far not much pain touch wood.
