established HCV for many decades.   I knew my risk factors but

decided to try tx anyway and not regret not doing it later.  My Hep

Dr watched me closely and would pull me off tx if any severe

complications from it.   I did have the warning complication was

thrown into a more faster aggressive HCV viral load spiked and so

did my complications and advanced into stage 4 cirrhosis

stages.    I was quickly pulled off tx and watched closely for

advancing cirrhosis stages.  My Hep Dr was part of my Transplant

Team and we listed me for transplant when I needed to be in esld -

Even in late cirrhosis stages and ESLD a person can stabilize have

doing well for long periods of time.  There are rx's and procedures

to help with the complications all the way through ESLD to

transplant.
