I went to CAC with Will tonite and as usual, had a blast.  I have more fun with him at the gym and going to Safeway than I do on most dates!  I was gonna do bi's and tri's but am feeling so fat right now I wanted to attack it with cardio.  I took the eliptical next to Will and kept it at level 14.  After about 5 minutes Will goes, " I was reading somewhere where you can burn more calories if you do quick spurts of speed " ,  Me - " Ya, that's HIIT training "   Will - " Well, maybe we should 'pump up the volume!' "

So we went really fast and I was calling out my speed but his newspaper was covering his display so I couldn't see his speed.  The second time we did the sprint he showed his display and yelled GO!  I laughed so hard I totally lost the race that time, he was up at 22.5 speed and the machines was making a loud noise he was going so obnoxiously fast I was DYING.  What made it even funnier is that everyone else in the cardio room was still calmly, rhythmicalliy watching tv with their headphones on, ignoring us, but I'm sure we made a spectacle of ourselves!  Our last sprint was more like the first one.

Next I went swimming, Will dove in the pool and there are " no diving " signs posted all over the place. I was anxious to try my new pair of goggles, the yellow ones.  They worked well, but were on maybe a little too tight.  I did that for 25 minutes.

We did our usual Safeway run and the woman behind us in line had just one green pepper.  That was it.  Will looked at me and commented on it so of course I got the giggles big time and he says out loud, grabbing his head of iceberg lettuce, " I THINK IT NEEDS A FRIEND! " .

Oh Lordy!  Off to watch past episodes of Mtv's " I Used To Be Fat " .
