Guest guest
I did the 500 Calorie Workout tonight -- all 60 minutes of it -- but I think I burned a lot more than just 500 calories! I forgot to put on my HRM, but I know my HR was really up there for a long time I almost bought this one yesterday. In fact, I had it in my cart at Total Fitness because it's on sale for $5.99. It sounds like a tough one. You got some good workouts. I'm going to my Firms next month, I think. ~~
Guest guest
I have the 500 Calorie Workout. I've only done it once but definitely didn't burn 500 calories (probably 250 or 300). It was tough though and I normally burn about 1/2 or slightly more than whatever any workout says it will burn because of my weight so I still considered it succesful and the package probably truthful. Now that I'm starting to commit to a heavy weight rotation for January, I'm also pining for my circuit workouts and am considering doing all circuit in February, with a heavy emphasis on The FIRM! I also recently got Get Chisel'd in a trade but haven't tried it yet, so another reason to do circuits soon! I like Total Body Time Crunch but didn't love it. Rebekah is pretty good though. I haven't even heard of Club Dance, sounds like I could possibly do it even (I have no hopes for Cardio Party and Cardio Dance Slim Down though)! Enjoy your workouts, I'll look forward to reading more about them soon! Christmas FIRMs One of the FIRM DVDs I got are "The Ultimate Cardio Collection" with "500 Calorie Workout," "Total Body Time Crunch," and "Cardio Party." I did the 500 Calorie Workout tonight -- all 60 minutes of it -- but I think I burned a lot more than just 500 calories! I forgot to put on my HRM, but I know my HR was really up there for a long time! The workout is actually an interval workout, but for some of us, the heartrate just doesn't lower during the lifting phase! My form wasn't exactly the greatest towards the end, either, and the weights kept getting lighter! The stretching at the end, though, was very good and long! The other DVD I got is "The Best of the FIRM." It has "Cardio Dance Slim Down," "Club Dance," and "Get Chisel'd." I did the Club Dance, which was really pretty good for a dance workout. It was more aerobics steps and less dance. All the steps were explained and demonstrated before launching into them. Both of the cardio workouts have been at a faster pace than I am used to -- I guess I'll just have to work a little harder!I need to get rid of a couple of holiday pounds that found me! These will do it for me, I'm sure!Indyrose
