Guest guest
Hiya Bev Yes, work is a shocker - and I think it is the source of my anxiety (make that know it is) so this year its `quit complaining, start doing'. How else do you explain the heartburn that started about half an hour ago when I didn't have anything like that until I returned here???? I didn't eat that much on Christmas Day and despite all my careful planning and dreaming it was a duck free break. So I am only going to take that as a sign that I need to work a bit harder on making it achievable very soon. FYI, I threw out most of a turkey and an untouched pavlova on Chrissy day. There was as usual too much food and I was cleaning up the kitchen and snuck that bird into the bin – because I am still eating the ham (yum on a crisp bread with mayo and chutney) can you imagine if I had to deal with a turkey too??? I would go "gobble gobble" spare. I have one recipe – today its ham and condiments on a crisp bread. Take one crisp bread, slather on good mayo (Norganic Soy Mayo is my recommendation) then pop a little nice chutney on and then a piece of left over Chrissy ham. Eat, repeat and enjoy. Guest guest
I understand you lack of interest in food, I am suffering badly from it too. Its hard, I had that bit of fill out and it increased the appetite - but I cant find anything to eat apart from things that are not that much fun. Like today I brought in my crisp breads with ham - yum. But I had to walk up the street to get some zantac (killer heartburn) and stupidly bought butter chicken - I dont even like it, I have heartburn going on at the moment and rice can be a problem - umm HELLO BRAIN?!?! I have come back here, had one mouthful and I will take the rest home for someone else to eat. I can't throw it out - it just cost me $7.50, what a waste. So I am back drinking a chocolate milkshake to get something in to me. On the plus side of things, I did up my `to do' list this morning and I have ticked off two things. I am slowly getting the motivation to work on something else.
