What procedure do they use? My dentist does use a rubber dam, but I didn't use any fume suction, are they supposed to?Thanks Sent from my iPhone

Hello there,

thanks for all the input. really appreciate it.

, do you mind if I ask what precautions Halvorsen took when taking

the fillings out?

My udnerstanding is that a dam is essential, as is some form of suction and

oxygen. All sounds scary to me but would go through it if I thought it would

really minimise the risk of toxicity.

Thanks

Hi Sacha

He didnt use a dam. but did use suction. I was told to try not to swallow during

the procedure. I asked him about a dam and he said it didnt make any difference

and the important thing was to chelate afterwards.

You need a rubber dam, suction and alternative air source, that's so you are not breathing in the fumes, at my dentist that goes right by the drill. More scarey is getting amalgams out and poising yourself more than if you left them in...............

Yes def do loads of research before embarking on this.I had 7 done at once by a dentist who used the correct protacol.I felt lousy afterwards for a few weeks but then started chelation doing DMSA using Andy Cutler protacol. All hell let loose with health problems and although improving I am still rubbish compared to how I was prior to amalgam removal.KathSent from my iPad

Yes I have thanks Mandy I am using the double strength variety twice a day.I am improving thankfully . Still haven't completely worked out what went wrong.Got severe neutropenia on DMSA.On ALA got symptoms of severe mercury toxicity at the end of the round. From my investigations I think I am actually allergic to mercury as well as mercury toxic!KathSent from my iPad

Thinking back all my health problems started to get worse on removal of mine! I still have 2! I have a recent diagnosis of Lyme and my practitioner said I should get the last 2 out and start on a de-toxing chelating protocol (she has suggested zeolite too!) whilst I treat the Lyme.Am going to call the one based in London though now! Dont want to feel worse than I already do!! and I certainly cant afford to get more confused than I already am!!!:-) From: "Mum231ASD@..."

I have an appointment next week with Dr Pouria at the Burgwood clinic in Banstead Surrey. She was recommended to me by Becky Dutton who runs a website called mercury madness and is associated with the Melisa foundation ,that developed testing for mercury and other metal allergy testing.Apparently people who tend to develop condition like MS, ME,Lymes etc test positive for mercury allergy.Have you heard of this clinic or Dr Pouria? She is an environmental Dr with a specialism, in toxicology and was a renal consultant at Guys Hospital. The clinic sounds similar to Breakspeare ,but people have told me that's it's better and cheaper for treatments and that Dr Pouria has an excellent record at treating mercury toxicity.I will let you know how I get on if you'r interested.KathSent from my iPad

Yes please!! sounds very interesting!! There are not a lot of LD docs in the UK which is why we are using BS! Imo Lyme starts off the immune failure that cause ME and MS and IBS etc etc etc,! Lyme also makes the body extremely toxic as body nor chelating too! My son was born with Lyme imo, and his poly tests at age 4 were off the scale. Lots of Lyme patients chelate as they eradicate the bacteria! You feel like sh*t as you treat it!! lots of very very weird sensations and pains etc.Love to hear your feedback! There seem to be lots of kids with regressive autism who test positive for LD ,their parents also testing positive.Have you looked at the website of the autism treatment trust in Edinburgh.? Dr Lorene Amet who runs the clinic has a son with late regressive autism who has been diagnosed with Lymes. She writes extensively about Lymes and about her son and his treatments and progressSent from my iPad

No I will check it out! I remember seeing her at a TA conf a few years ago!! I was put off testing at the time by the fact the testing was inaccurate and that I didn't think my son showed signs...Now there is a new antibodies test is able to detect Chronic Lymes so it is well worth testing to see! My son has improved in lots of ways with the abx and naturals treatment he is on and we are only 3 months in. He has no more "extreme" meltdowns and pain episodes, and we are seeing small gains in speech, big gains in comprehension and massive gains in sociability and playful interaction with us. I wish I had looked at it earlier! but there you go!! That's fantastic and extremely hopefully for the future. Both Lorene Amet and professor Montagnier are speaking at the TA conference on the Sunday. He has done lots of work on LD and other bacterial infections in autism. My dd tested negative on prof Montagniiers test for LD but positive for gram positive bacteria.I was almost disappointed as LD seems a more concrete thing to be able to treat.Where did you get the LD test done?Oh dear seem to have gone completely off topic.KathSent from my iPad

He has no more "extreme" meltdowns and pain episodes, and we are seeing small gains in speech, big gains in comprehension and massive gains in sociability and playful interaction with us. I wish I had looked at it earlier! but there you go!!

Hi which practioner are you using?Sent from my iPad

Thinking back all my health problems started to get worse on removal of mine! I still have 2! I have a recent diagnosis of Lyme and my practitioner said I should get the last 2 out and start on a de-toxing chelating protocol (she has suggested zeolite too!) whilst I treat the Lyme.Am going to call the one based in London though now! Dont want to feel worse than I already do!! and I certainly cant afford to get more confused than I already am!!!:-) From: "Mum231ASD@..."

Have you tried Zeolites Kath?

Mx

Yes def do loads of research before embarking on this.I had 7 done at once by a dentist who used the correct protacol.I felt lousy afterwards for a few weeks but then started chelation doing DMSA using Andy Cutler protacol. All hell let loose with health problems and although improving I am still rubbish compared to how I was prior to amalgam removal.

You need a rubber dam, suction and alternative air source, that's so you are not breathing in the fumes, at my dentist that goes right by the drill. More scarey is getting amalgams out and poising yourself more than if you left them in...............

Mx

My udnerstanding is that a dam is essential, as is some form of suction and oxygen. All sounds scary to me but would go through it if I thought it would really minimise the risk of toxicity

http://www.infectolab.de/index.php?id=47 & L=1We did Borrelia Elispot-LTT. I did my sons first and when his came back positive I decided to test myself as I knew he had never had a tick bite and I did have some symptoms including a stiff neck, recently diagnosed heartbeat irregularity and some rheumatism like issues in my fingers and joints. I think the test is pretty new. We did it under Dr Yeou at BS. I think I could have been born with it too as my parents both have Lyme like symptoms too.
