Guest guest
Sabine you must be about ready to start on mushies? You will enjoy this stage because it gives you back the sense of chewing again but remember from now on it is chew, chew, chew. Guest guest
You know you can gradually thicken up your mushie stage? Good girl slow and steady is always the best way to go. Guest guest
Ah, but dont forget your body has had a bit of a shock...it will release the weight when its ready. Think about The Biggest Loser....they always lose a HEAP of weight in the first week and are then disappointed when the 2nd week isnt as big....they have been working just as hard, hey? Thats just how weight loss goes.... After a year, I have resigned myself to the fact that some weeks I just DONT lose weight, but at long as I havent GAINED any, I am happy because I know that in x number of weeks, the weight will be going down again....it just depends on how much I move, what I have eaten, but more importantly, when my body is ready to release it. I know it sounds pretty "new age" or something, but that is how it goes....at least for me. Mon Great idea, I will buy a couple of lean crusines today. Yesterday I madea meal of bits and pieces and it was great but ended up a bit like soupwhen I blended it...I have lost 5kg which was last week, none this weekat all. I am going to start walking on the weekend. I don't drink enougheither, I am afraid I might stretch something if I drink too much. Ingrid ps I can feel my port if I lye on my stomach in bed. I'm not keenon the feel either but I suppose you get used to it.>>> Yes I started Mushies early, Browyn said as long it is like Lava itsfine> Today I had> The first meal. Guest guest
Also girls who are newly banded the first weeks after banding is all about healing not the weight loss. That will come shortly so please be patient because rest assured it will happen for you. Guest guest
Thanks Mazz for putting our minds at rest. It gets disappointing on the scales but once we start some walking and moving more I am sure our weight will start to move. I think the first week with a 5kg loss would mainly have been fluid anyway, I don't think you could loose 5kg of fat in a week. Guest guest
Mazz is absolutely correct....be kind to yourself, especially the newly banded ones. It took us all YEARS to gain the weight....it takes a while to lose it too Personally, I was a fan of Up and Go (protein but easy to drink), custard watered down with apple juice, V8 juice, beef cup-a-soup (the cheap stuff because there were no lumps in it) and my personal favourite - home-made ice blocks! I cant remember if it was Mel, I think it was, who suggested I break out the old Tupperware icy pole moulds. Best suggestion I received straight after banding! Mon Also girls who are newly banded the first weeks after banding is all about healing not the weight loss. That will come shortly so please be patient because rest assured it will happen for you.Mazz wrote:>> Ah, but dont forget your body has had a bit of a shock...it will > release the weight when its ready.
