Guest guest
Kickbutt workout! Yay. I'm so happy, and it felt great. I woke up with some awesome DOMS from yesterday. Not crippling, but probably just the right amount. And they are all over (minus core). I wanted some core and a bit of cardio, but ended up with some major cardio, and loved it. I started out with Tracie Long and did the 20 minute cardio premix. I like this one okay. Not wonderful, not bad. I got a nice cardio boost from it, burned 282 calories with my average at 140 in the 23 minutes. I decided to take a chance and attempt a HIIT workout, telling myself I'd do just the first 15 minutes, and cut the drills a bit short. Well, I did the whole she-bang, and loved it. I did stop at a few of the drills around 5 seconds though. I did little modifying, and kept my step at 2 risers. Good stuff. I burned 443 calories in 28 minutes with a whopping 160 for my average (I'm sure it helped going into the workout w/ an elevated heart rate already. I then went back to Back Up, and did the Mat Moves. I was trying to get some good ab-work, but this workout wasn't great for that. It had some stretching, some back, bit of abs, and more stretching. I did my own abs instead of stretching for a bit. So, a great workout, and especially loved doing a HIIT. It's been a LONG time!D
