Workout blues

Yesterday was an example of why I stick to a few " tried and true " workouts --

much more so than the rest of you. I tried out to virgin DVDs.

I got Kim 's Aerobic Euphoria with two different workouts on it. I started

with the High/Low Aerobics. I stretched on my own, got through her warm up okay,

and I gave the workout an honest try, but I just couldn't go with all the

dance-like movements. So I quit that and moved to her Step Aerobics workout on

the same DVD. Since I was already warmed up, I went to the main program. Once

again it started okay, but got too " dancy " for my tastes. When she called out a

" Box Step " during a step workout, that was it for that one!

Then I popped in the FIRM Super Sculpting workout. That was MUCH better

(although not the cardio I wanted). Unfortunately, I only got about half-way

through that one when DH called me away. :-( I got about 45 minutes of workout

in, including the stretches and warm-up, but I didn't like it that I hadn't

finished any of them. Even though I was tired and sweating, it kind of made me

feel like I hadn't done anything.

Aerobic Euphoria goes in the " dud " pile, but the FIRM's a keeper.

I've done that same exact thing before. Not finishing does make you feel like that, BUT you were moving, you got your heart rate up so your body didn't know the difference, just your mind. :))

Great job Indy!!
