Guest guest Posted December 11, 2011 Report Share Posted December 11, 2011 I haven't done much of anything else lately, but I have done a LOT of stretching, especially the hamstrings and butt (Figure 4 stretch). That DOES ease the pain quite a bit, and I'm keeping a " normal " daily activity going, instead of being stuck on the couch. I think I'll try some walking again today. Guest guest Posted December 11, 2011 Report Share Posted December 11, 2011 Hi Indy, Glad youj're stretching, I"m trying to keep that up myself b/c I tend to get really tight in the hip flexors and hamstrings which then messes up my back. I have been spared sciatic pain! But, I can easily throw my hip flexor out!!Try walking outdoors, it is a different motion than the TM and may not cause your hamstrings to cramp up as much.
