Guest guest
I felt really sluggish this evening and felt energy drained in Group Kick tonite. There were only 6 people, which is typical for this class. The highlight for the night was a section that had the Go-Go's "We Got the Beat" song. FUN! What fun! Its great that you have a place that you can go and not only workout but interact with others that have the same interest. ~~
Guest guest
That sounds like one of the gyms where I worked in Atlanta. I loved it there. We had an 87 year old woman who came there just to take my aqua aerobics classes. She used a walker and had to have 2 people help her get in the pool, but she did every move in aqua aerobics, although some were modified for her. She came to the same class where I made a professional football player puke. Yeah, I picked on him mercilessly for that! ;-) I felt really sluggish this evening and felt energy drained in Group Kick tonite. There were only 6 people, which is typical for this class. The highlight for the night was a section that had the Go-Go's " We Got the Beat " song. FUN! I spent the next couple of hours continuing to be a slug in the Pool area. The same night gang was there - a lot of people go to this gym just to hang out at the pool and de-stress. It's just that kind of place. I love it there sooooo much! I spent most of the time talking to Lee, a senior who wears 3 gold chains, a gold necklace, and two large gold rings. He told me that today was his 87th trip to the casino this year (!) and I got to also hear about his drinking days. He's kind of a chatterbox but I'm kind of quiet at the gym and am happy to listen Everyone seems to know me, I'm guessing because I'm the only one there with turquoise hair. My favorite night time person is Charlene, who I see only in the locker room so I'm not sure what she does at the gym. She's a senior and uses a cane and has to walk very, very slowly - everyone should there, because the floor, even though it has mats, is always wet, so it would be easy to slip and fall if one weren't careful. I do miss my own gym, Studio LouLou, and working out to videos. I plan on getting at least one workout in here over the break! Tomorrow I'm taking my friend 's Pilates class at LA Fitness. I've never been there before and will enjoy checking that out! -- Tonyawww.trainingwithtonya.comwww.facebook.com/trainingwithtonya www.twitter.com/trainingwtonya
Guest guest
Tonya I would love to take both your Aqua class and the puke inducing class from you! Aqua was not a big thing at 24 Hour Fitness, but here at Cascade Athletic Club where there are mostly seniors they have it twice a day most days!
