Guest guest
Nice job michelle! You have so much more patience than I do w/ swtching DVDs back and forth! D  Hi!    So today I wanted a high calorie burner. I did NOTHING over the weekend and felt like a big lazy.   I was looking through my workouts last night and while was gone with and was sleeping I decided to make up a little mish mosh.  I used my VHS so it wasn't perfect, but by golly it worked.   I call this my Amy Dixon " its all in your head "  mish mosh. I came up with this because as I was recording these I had to chuckle at her because she says that like 3 times. You're dying trying to get air and she says " its all in your head "  LOL!    I combined Breathless Body with the cardio intervals from Super Fit Bod.    Here's how it went:  Breathless Body (BB) Warm up, Drill #1 (power jacks) 8 times Super Fit Bod (SFB) Fat burning interval BB- Drill #2 (speed skaters) 8 times SFB- Calorie torching interval BB- Drill #3 (Athletic beach volley ball) 8 times SFB- Fat blasting interval BB- Drill #4 (Hot feet)  That was it. It was around 45 minutes long. I cooled down just a bit and put in yoga for another 20 minutes.  I did Blissology " Bliss Monday " .   With everything it was 65 minutes. Calories 471, avg 139, max 178.    Have a great day!~~
Guest guest
I need to do body part tapes too, because that's how I work out nowadays! Love your mish moshes, ! Wow, ! You sure are creative! I need to get the stuff and try at least putting full workouts on DVD from VHS sometime, just to take up less room. Sounds like you had a great workout today and having a solid plan makes it all more fun too, I'm sure! We'll look forward to hearing how your experiment works for you! Monday Workout Good morning! I spent my weekend working on my December rotation. I'm going to do short cardio and meso 3 this month. This week will be a just a trial to see if it's going to work. I'm not doing the meso 3 " as is " I'm doing one body part a day with the cardio. I used my VHS/DVD to copy all the chest work, back, bi's, tri's, and shoulders all separately. This beats having to keep the remote next to me to keep skipping. I'll be doing cardio everyday except one and that day will be legs. They will all be 30 minutes or less. Some will be intense and some will be just easy cardio. This is different for me, but I'm excited to do it. So today I started with cardio and did Imax 2 (1-5) and chest from meso 3. CHEST Flat bench press warm up set 12 reps 40 flat bench press 8 reps (4 sets) 60 Chest fly 25 Incline bench press 50 Incline chest fly's 25 I was so happy that I burned 448 calories for the cardio and the weights. My avg was 138 and max 185. I also got in over 4,000 steps. I'm very pleased with this first workout. Have a great day!~~
Guest guest
So happy to back to good eating and workouts. This week I'm finishing out my rotation of cardio and one body part a day, but I ditched meso 3 and am replacing it with Slow & Heavy. I just did these a few months ago, but these workouts seem to be the best replacement for the meso 3 workouts. Of course I ALWAYS change up the reps and speed in these, which I love doing. So today I needed a huge calorie burn so that meant a pretty tough cardio workout. I decided to do Amy Dixon's Breathless Body, but do only 4 of 8 tabata drills, but I did the whole workout before working chest from S & H. I've played around with Breathless Body since I've got it and realized that doing the 8 drills for all is just too much. I decided I'll either do half the workout with all 8 drills for each or doing the 4 and do them all. I wasn't sure how doing the 4 would work since I'd have to be grabbing the remote after each one, but it was fine. Slow & Heavy Chest- 12 reps- 3 sets Bench press 25 Chest flys 25 Incline bench press 20 Incline chest flys 15 pushups- toes and knees I have to say that the S & H is much harder then the meso 3. At least for chest work so far it is. What I also love about these workouts is that she just uses dumb bells, no bar bell to have to mess with. I burned 438 calories, avg 137, max 177. I also got in 3,500 steps. Have a great day!~~
