Guest guest
8's are essential - WONDERFUL, Indy! Trust me, 15's aren't too heavy. There will be a point when they are too light, actually. The 20's I used today were too light, but that's the highest dumbell I have. Luckily i have heavier kettlebells, which work for dumbells most of the time. Keep lifting! You're doing AWESOME! Can't wait to read your FIRM reviews! I got 2 FIRM DVDs with 3 workouts on each -- so, 6 workouts! Plus a set of 8lb dumbbells. I only had 3, 5 and 10's, so I like the 8's a lot! DH is worried that 15's (which I REALLY wanted) may be too heavy for me, but I often put a 5 and 10 together -- it's hard on the grip for that, though! I also got a nice veggie slicer that should make healthy food prep easier! I'm heading down to try out my new equipment now! Guest guest
Which DVDs did you get? Let us know what you think of them! I have 8s, I like them a lot too! I have 1s through 8s then skip to 10s, 12s and 15s. I'd love to have a set of 9s. I can't possibly hold a 5 & a 10 so I do have 15s, I don't use them often (yet) but like having them. A veggie slicer sounds good too. DH bought me a new paring knife too, not the best but better than what I have. I spent a lot of time this afternoon slicing up veggies to have them on hand and ready to go for this week. I was making a veggie tray for this afternoon anyway and just cut up all the rest I had on hand as long as I had them anyway. I always say I'm going to do that but rarely do, I'm glad I did it though, should help a lot. Christmas fitness gifts! I got 2 FIRM DVDs with 3 workouts on each -- so, 6 workouts!
