Guest guest
I had a FIRM workout planned but am exhausted and wanted to skip my workout but just can't so I went with Muscle Mile One. I meant to put in Miracle Mile (I love that one) but by the time this one started and it took me a minute or two to finally figure out it wasn't the one I meant to do (shows how tired I am that it took me that long, I did Miracle Mile just a week or 2 ago and they are TOTALLY different), I just figured I'd go with it. This one has with Kay & Sandy and & Kay hold the "walk away" 2 lb. balls for about 2/3 of the workout. I have the same poundage but from The FIRM and mine have handles so I like them a lot better and used those. I was tempted to put this in the trade pile and still am because the music was lousy. The emphasis is on the upper body movements with the balls so it is a very slow pace and very low energy (especially compared with Miracle Mile). I have other one mile walks I like better and don't need this for upper body so I still might get rid of this one. But, I have to remind myself not to make decisions about videos while sleep-deprived because that can lead to trader's remorse so I'm not doing anything today. I'm seriously downgrading the intensity of my workouts today and probably tomorrow, due to terrible lack of sleep. Today was supposed to be The Firm Ultimate Fat Burning Working (45 minutes) and tomorrow Butts & Guts (89 minutes) but tomorrow will probably be 's Short Cuts Lower Body to see if I need to keep it and to do something low key. I did Dozois' Ultimate Workout -- Cardio Tuesday morning and while I enjoyed it, I was so tired all day and while it was challenging, it isn't THAT tough. I'm waking up over and over at night lately because one of the toes on my right foot starts screaming in pain and I can't get it to shut up for long. I've had this problem before and thought it might be my shoes but then experimented and ruled that out. My latest theory is that my circulation is being cut off because I like to sleep with socks on when it is cold and sleep on my right side so the toe is being pressed on from both sides. Why only that toe though, I'm not sure. I finally called my podiatrist this morning and got an appointment for next Thursday morning because I'm sick of this. It comes & goes, which is why I've never called before, but I am working more than I ever have since my kids were born and that combined with lack of sleep is making it more challenging for me to be the mom & wife I want to be so, enough is enough. Okay, done whining. I feel good for doing anything at all even though in some ways it felt like nothing at all (but it was better than I'd wanted to do so that is all good).
