Posting my plan for the week yesterday and then reading responses earlier today was all the push I needed to make something happen today, thank you! I did Upper Body and forgot how hard that workout is until I started doing it!

Good for you, ! For me, it felt great to get a workout in after the holiday. Yep, those ab wheels are hard. My MIL has one and I've tried it a few times and it takes a lot of upper body and core strength to move them. It was just too much for me so I was never motivated to buy one. I think if you keep using it a lot it will get easier and wow how strong could that thing get you?

Thanks, !! Yeah, I can see really getting strong using the wheel, I was going to add it on today but my upper body is too sore so tomorrow I might.

I hope it went well at the doctor. I hope it does the trick!

Posting my plan for the week yesterday and then reading responses earlier today was all the push I needed to make something happen today, thank you! I did Upper Body and forgot how hard that workout is until I started doing it! I can't remember when I did it last but doing upper body only once a week for 30 minutes at a time is not doing me much good in the strength department because I could not match a lot of my weights from last time (earlier this year, I think) and that was a bit frustrating. I went up for some but that was probably because I went too light last time. Oh well.

As I was coming upstairs, I heard my FIL's voice and knew he and my MIL had stopped by to see our tree and decorations. I hadn't cleaned anything yet so the house was a mess but they don't care, thankfully (I do but they don't). They were supposed to be bringing homemade Christmas candy but forgot it and that was fine with me! We had some tea and cookies and chatted then they left and Miriam and I went to the pool for an hour. I wasn't at all in the mood to swim so I just walked up and down the lane with her and then when she wanted to go into the deeper water with a kickboard I did side stroke and breast stroke next to her so I ended up swimming some. We spent some time in the hot tub too and I put my shoulders against the jets to get a little massage! That was nice too.

Before doing the video workout, I assembled my ab wheel and tried it out. Holy crap is that hard!! I watched a guy on YouTube doing it on his toes and making it look easy like that when it was super difficult even on my knees! I did a few reps and realized to keep good form I was going to have to build up to going very far with it and DS and DH tried it out too and agreed it was tough. I was going to do more downstairs but the video started without all the usual Firm Believers commercials and there was no way I was touching it afterwards so I'll probably try it again tomorrow.

Tomorrow too, I have my last shot at the footie doctor. It is better but not great, still some pain, so I'm not sure what he'll say. Hopefully no more shots because my hip was sore for days after that last one! :-) Tomorrow is also cardio. I have Express Cardio down and will hopefully do that before the doc and probably take the kids to the pool again. Only a few days left on our pass so we gotta make use of it!
