Guest guest
Indyrose, good luck to you! I feel for you on that test. I can offer this: if the CT scan doesn't show a problem, then this is still valuable information. In any case, it's good that you're being proactive about this. My overall energy's been low lately, and it showed up last night. I wanted a good cardio workout, so I started Cathe's Basic Step. I practically know this one by heart now, and I've been doing it on the step's mid riser. About half way through, I felt I needed to lower the riser... I have been stressed lately with family stuff. My job has been going almost tooooo good -- I have to remember that I'm " just a contractor, " and this is not a secure position. If I get to liking the job too much, then it's going to really hurt if it terminates. I know the people I work with want me to stay, but it's not their decision... I don't have my new treadmill set up yet, as we need to clean out a new space for it, but I think I'm going to press for that to happen SOON! Tuesday I did a 3-miles, and I jogged nearly the whole time, rather than walk. My smaller treadmill is not very good for jogging/running -- I tried doing the C25K with it, and I kept hitting the rear guard with my foot.-- Very disconcerting! My son (6'2 " ) says he can't get a full stride on the old one. He hasn't seen the new one yet. I have a CT scan scheduled for tomorrow to check out the UTIs I've been having. I almost chickened out (for financial reasons) and the nurse talked me back into it... I don't know what to hope for. If they don't find anything I'm going to be really mad about spending that money for nothing! If they do find something, that may be a lot worse!! Either way, I lose! I really doubt they will find anything, as I feel fine. (Of course, I didn't have hardly any symptoms of gallbladder problems until the day it had to come out on an emergency basis!-- A side-pain woke me up around 5AM and by 5PM, the gallbladder was gone!) Hope to get a strength workout tonight. Indyrose ------------------------------------
Guest guest
Good morning! I got up this morning with some nice soreness in my upper body. Not bad, but enough to tell me I done something the day before I had cardio down, but didn't want to do a lot of jumping since I usually suffer with my breathing whenever I'm sore. I went with Low Impact Challenge. I wanted to get the combo's mastered. I knew once I did I'd really enjoy this workout. I was able to do it all, even the last combo, which was super tricky for me before. I found myself enjoying it so much that I was putting high impact into a lot of it. After the blast I took that out and put in Athletic Training and did the abs and stretch. I really like this ab routine. They use the firewalker band for the first exercise, but I used my 3lb DB. I think next time I'll even go up to 5's for that. I ended up burning 431 calories, avg 142, max 169 and around 5,700 steps. Have a great day!~~
Guest guest
I think tonight's workout is going to be a " working " workout. I need to tackle the tubs and showers with Lime-away, which always means a lot of elbow grease is applied. Toilets scrubbed and floors mopped, too. I've done hefty cardio the last two days, so this will give me some upper-body work to do! Indyrose > > Good morning! > I got up this morning with some nice soreness in my upper body.
