Guest guest
Hi Leah - I know exactly where you are coming from re the eating. Soon after I got the band I never lost an ounce for 14 weeks, because I was able to put away piles of food. A month ago I reached perfect restriction at 8.5ml in my 10ml band and lost that hunger urge I have (head and tum). That lasted about 2 weeks and now I'm eating like a horse again and gaining weight. It is a constant battle. I would think your doctor is responsible if he has punched the port tubing but you may not actually have a leak. I know it will mean two needles tomorrow, but I'd get him to take out your 6.5ml to check it is all there - perhaps he can have a little in the syringe to begin with, extract what you have look and push it all back in without even taking the needle out - how good would that be!!! I don't know why this fill/restriction thing changes so much and so individually for everyone. I am heading back for a little more next week which I hope will tide me over for a month but for some reason my restriction isn't lasting long. Others have tight days and then loose days. It's very weird, but I wouldn't worry to much about a leak just yet, it may just be your band loosening off and as you lose weight, fat is lost around the band area so this may be why you have lost some of your restriction. See what you guy says tomorrow, but make sure he takes it out first to check the level. Cheers Cherie > > Hello everyone > > I just need to get something off my considerable chest!
