Guest guest
Hi .. I am one of those that cannot have fizzy. I can have champagne, but not coke. When you are allowed to try them, pour it, add ice and stir it up. That will take away a lot of the aeration and maybe ok. It is individual... I cannot have it when I have fill, but I can have champagne, which makes no sense at all I know, but I will live with being able to have the odd champers. You are doing well if you are not hungry... that is excellent! I have been hungry since the time I woke up from the damned surgery, and have had hunger pangs ever since. If I have just eaten, I get head hunger - I am not a very good bandit. Keep up the good work... Guest guest
Hiya It is an individual thing – I mean look at me tonight. I am told that I simply cannot eat squid/ calamari etc but I ate a good portion of stuffed calamari tonight, veal etc. So it is so individual, plus with no fill you will have not problem – however having said that, fizzy drinks fall into a whole new category. You should go there – really you don't need them. Go for sparkling mineral water like San Remo – less fizz but still good hydration, minus the salt but we need that right?? Then there is other things like lime bitters, and things that have less fizz. I find things like coke make me feel uncomfortable with their fizz and make me feel a bit embarrassed in social situations as they make me want to burp but cant or I can burp too much. However up until you have your fill you might find you can tolerate these things with no problem. I have quite a bit of restriction, 8.something in a band and I cannot have anything other than San Remo sparkling, things like lemon lime bitters and at a real stretch coke if I have a blockage. It is something that you are going to have to work out for yourself – and be warned that it will change each day, that is why I tend to stick within the guidelines and adhere to them particularly in social situations to avoid the Mount Vesuvius reaction. Hope this helps you!!
