Friday Workout

Good morning!

Today I wanted another upper body workout even though my triceps and chest are still a tiny bit sore from earlier this week with Gym Style.

I used yoga as a warm up and did Quick Fix Power Yoga (endurance). I then put in Cathe's Muscle Endurance and did the Upper Body Split Premix.

Here's how it went:

One-armed rows 20Clean & Press w/rows 30Bicep curls ( I used my DB and used 8's)Chest Flys 8Pushups- kneesTricep DipsTicep Kickbacks 5Overhead Press w/Plate 10Standing Rotation Press 8

Front/side Lifts 5Bent Arm Side Lifts 5Abs- 6 lb med ball

My muscles burned more then what I would normally I think because of the soreness I was still feeling. The abs is tough in this one.

How is your back feeling? I hope it is better!I was just thinking of doing a Tracie Long rotation b/c I am acquiring yet another of the Longevity workouts in a trade -w hich means I'm only missing two. I have a thing for complete sets!!Donna

Really happy it's Friday.

So this morning I did my last body part from meso 3. I started out with cardio and did Spreen's Cardio Camp. I did the warm up to kickbox premix. This was around 25 minutes without the cool down. This wasn't real hard and my heart didn't really get up that high, but it was fun and I sure didn't need hard this morning.

After I did that I put in Meso 3 and worked triceps. I went back to and did the stretch.

My weights seem wimpy and I think it's because the rest of my upper body is just so darn sore. I just didn't feel like I could go any heavier then what I did.

TRICEPS- 4 sets 8 reps

Lying extensions 15

Seated one arm overhead extensions 12

Cross body kickbacks 13

With the way I'm feeling right now I'm thinking of doing this rotation every other week until I get all 4 weeks done. I'll see how I feel come Sunday night and if I feel good and refreshed I might pick back up with it or I just might do the TLT workouts for a week and come back to this. This rotation is much more intense then what I anticipated.

I burned 342 calories, avg 132, max 169

I have the longevity set too and they are all virgin workouts for me.  I look forward to reading your reviews on them!    I love the gym but sometimes I miss doing videos.  But hey, that's what weekends are for, right?

I have her TLT and her Longevity workouts to do yet. I'm thinking of putting them inbetween this meso 3 rotation since its so intense.

Merry Christmas, ! I hope your back and hip are fine after that great workout!

WOW, I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve!

 

I have done a leg workout since my hip/back was hurting.  I had down to do Pyramid Lower Body yesterday, but skipped it.   I got it done this morning.  I pray my hip stays OK.

 

I always use DB for the leg presses and static lunges.  I then pick up my BB for the squats/plie.  Just works better for me.

 

I decided to wear my HRM this time and I burned 290 calories, avg 130, max 163

 

Leg press  12/15/20/15/12

Static lunge  12/15/20/15/12

Squats/plie squats  30/35/40/35/30

Deadlifts - SKIPPED~~

Calf raises

 

Floor work:

Hamstring raises, pull ins, inner thighs, ball squeezes and glute raises.
