Hi e,

I just read your email (I'm only ten days behind in reading and answering my email messages.)

e, I truly pray that your spirits have been lifted and that you're feeling better. Here I am in a support group and allot of support I'm giving. By the time I respond (like now) a week and a half has already gone by. Please forgive me! I too struggle most every day not to give in and give up. In my heart I believe that when I die, no one will ever hurt me again, all my pain will end and I will finally be home walking in the Light of our Lord's Love. For me, I embrace death, not life! I am sick of all the lies, I am tired of continually defending myself against those lies and I'm angry over all the hurt people cause people due to their own fears, money, prestige or any other reason a person can think of to justify the wrong doing they do to another human being. BUT! And that is a BIG but :-) ! We are here (you are here) at this time (since the beginning of time) because God chose you to be here at "this" particular time in life and God does not make mistakes. You have a purpose, you have meaning, you "are" life! And for everything that has happened to me (in the name of "SILICONE"), for everything I've lost including my health and quality of life, I will not let them have it all. Our lives are a Gift from God and for the first time in my life, I finally understand what that statement is saying. The life that God gave you is not a gift to you, it's a gift to "us" and to anyone else who's path you may cross.

If anyone (speaking also of myself) should destroy that precious gift God gave to each one of us, would be making a statement saying - "I focused more on those that hurt me instead of God's Eternal Love for me!"

I guess I've said enough and please don't misunderstand me. I'm the last person in the world that should try and preach to another. But all that I've just told you, is what keeps me holding on. So please, try to put aside your fears and uncertainties, for you have a purpose, a very special purpose and you are loved by so many. Now all you need to do, is believe that!

Take very good care of yourself e and remain strong in your faith.

Love with Lots of Hugs.............

eRene@... wrote: I know that I am beginning to sound like a pity party over here in Colorado, but everyday since last wk I have gotten bad news, and now today got even more.First of all, I saw Dr. Huang today. She took my after pics, and I requested a before and after pic which she said she'd get to me so that I may post to the groups. She said that my breast tissue feels good, but is extremely concerned about the amt of pain I continue to have. I broke down and cried in her office when I told her about my latest bad news related to my cervical spine and lumbar and sacral spine. When I told her that I may also be in early renal failure, she just had no words to say to me. Instead she just hugged me and told me that someone who is not even 32 yrs old yet should not have to go through all this. She agreed with me that the implants are probably at the root of all my health problems. She was kind enough to say she would try to find some good pain docs and a good spine/neck doc for a second/third opinion for surgery. On the other hand, I was a litter perturbed with her when I found out that she continues to do lots of implants. I talked to her nurse Cristen who seemed very concerned about my health problems and wanted to know if docs were linking my health problems with my implants. When I told her yes, she just was shocked and said she wished me the best and hoped I started feeling better. I then asked her if Dr. Huang did a lot of implants, and she said that she did, including silicone. I asked her if she did more explants, and Cristen said no. She said that she does "far more implants than explants." When I questioned Dr. Huang about this, she said that she carefully reviews with each woman the potential problems, shows them the pictures of failed implants and women sickened by implants (women like myself who had a rash all over) and tells them that she does remove quite a few implants, yet even with all this info, woman still choose to get them. It just blew my mind, and made me cry even more. I told Dr. Huang that because of those damn things, I just want to die; that there is nothing worth living for in life anymore. Anyway, on to the bad news I got tonight from my rheumy. I found out that the protein I have in my blood is being produced in my bone marrow, which is called monoclonal gammopathy. It is a precursor to myeloma. For this reason, my rheumy is sending me to a hematologist for further workup, as well as a renal doc for further renal workup. But what is really upsetting me is the fact that I may have CA. What more can go wrong in a 31 yr olds life? I have absolutely no support from my family. I have lost all my friends here in Denver, and I have nowhere to turn. My high school sweetheart is going to be out Wed and Thurs and I had been so looking forward to seeing him, as he has been the only light in my life for the past several months. And while I have lost lots of weight, I am so afraid for him to see me and see the person I have become---someone who truly hates herself, someone who is chronically ill, and someone who no longer sees joy in anything. So someone tell me, please, what is there to look forward to anymore??????e

Hi,e,happy Memorial Day. What are you and doing today? We

are going to oldest daughter's house for hamburgers and hot dogs. All the

family will be there including the Marine grandson. It will be a day of love

and laughter.

I have read and prayed my Children of Destiny prayer for you and all the group

today. Love and blessings, Pat K

A scare today (not my kids though)

As I was heading to the store, I noticed there were a lot of cops in town, and then saw a guy walking around like he (at the time I thought) was hiding from the cops. SO I rounded the corner and went home to tell hubby to keep kids inside... and found out by one of the kids there that there was a missing kid, 9 year old "special" boy.

So I went to where the cops were parked, and talked to the parents, asked for a picture so I could help look for him. He was a 9 year old autistic boy, who didn't talk, had been playing on the front porch for 10 minutes, the just disappeared. He was missing for over an hour when he was finally found basically in their own back yard. Thank GOD.

I was impressed with how the town came together to look for him. We are a town of about 800 people, and there were probably at least 100 out within minutes of them realizing that boy was missing. By the time that hour was up, that number probably doubled. When I drove back by and found that he was home.. he looked a little scared, but otherwise fine. He was walking the dog. :)
