Today I did the last few workouts from the Lose Weight in 8 DVD I got from exercise TV. Today was Yoga Sculpt-30 min. This was a workout that uses light weights to do moves based on yoga, then I did recovery workout 1 which was a great little stretch workout using a yoga strap and a foam roller. I have had my foam roller for a while now but never actually used it before,for some reason I thought it would feel good and therapeutic, but during the IT band foam roller portion, that freaking hurt. Anyways, it was an awesome little stretch workout. The recovery workout 2 was a yoga stretch workout. Both of the recovery workouts are 15 min. each. I think this DVD which includes 3-30 minute workouts and the 2-15 minute recovery workouts was well worth the $1 I spent on it. Have a great day everyone.

Hi all, I was a very bad girl and called in sick to work today even though I am not sick. Since I have gotten healthier I never get to use my sick days anymore, my boss in on vacation today so there is only one main boss with two secretaries so I figured it would be the best day to do it. Naughty . LOL. This morning I did Kettlebell Bootcamp with Angie . I totally loved this workout. Of course right now I can barely type since my arms hurt from those pushups, but I made it thru. OK, I did cheat just a little bit on the number of pushups but I really really hate them. I did my best though. This workout is awesome. I started out with an 18 lb. bell, but since it's been so long since I did kettlebells I ended up dropping to a 15. I guess Angie was using a 15 also according to the DVD case so I don't feel so bad. She sure seems to love those curtsy lunges in her workouts. The total workout time on this is 52 minutes. I will for sure do this one again, I really liked it.

LOL  you called in HEALTHY :)  I love it!  I miss my kettlebells and need to use them soon.  Good job !

If your heart isn't in them, don't do them !

I loved the Crave and the bootcamp one so much that I ordered one other one of hers from 's website today, before my frugal spending plan starts next month. I don't remember what it's called now, I'm pretty sure it's gonna have those dreaded curtsy lunges though, LOL. My butt hurts from yesterday and today. Tomorrow morning I am going to do a wimpy new one I got, it's Austin, I previewed it, I know I ain't gonna like it, but darn it I bought it and I'm gonna do it.

I've done this one. It was loaner. At time I liked it, but not enough to buy it. I can't wait to see what you think of it. She doesn't have very many workouts. I wonder if she plans to make more.

Ugh - that stinks about the alternate work schedule situation. I'm lucky to have that in my job - and I seriously would consider leaving if they took it away from me.

Hi all, today I did KCM new Start here workout. I figured it would be a good one to start with since I have been really slacking lately. I really liked this one a lot, I did both of the workouts on it today. I don't know, in my opinion it's not really all that beginnery, which is good for me, but if I hadn't exercised before, I might find this one kinda hard. I loved it though. It will be great for a day when I need to work out but don't feel like killing myself. Yesterday I did Yoga for Beginners II with Walden, I didn't like that one at all and I am going to get rid of it. Tomorrow I have to go back to work, I am not looking forward to that at all after a week off. I am also kinda pissed, over a year ago I had asked for an alternate work schedule in order to stay on my van pool and my boss denied it saying that he needed me there every day.

Now, a girl that has been there less than a year asked for one and she got it. I am going to talk to him about it. He will probably not give it to me, but I have to ask. I am off to walk to the store now to get some tofu for some salad dressing I am making tonite. I am also trying to find an old fashioned shower cap, a good one, not the disposable kind, but they seem to be very hard to come across nowadays. So far, I have worked out every day of the new year, LOL and I have not yet put anything into my body that is not good for me, not even diet soda, which is going to be hard to kick, but I am gonna do it. Have an awesome day all.
