Guest guest
How did you go today? Notice any difference??? I have, I have a great big void to fill and its currently getting all sorts thrown at it. I just had half a slice of vegemite toast. Why can .25ml make such a difference? And why was my craving for carbs? Not fair, not a bit fair. Now I have to wait for my fill to go back in so I can stop this insanity. Guest guest
Well ... he put in 0.5ml ... and I made an appointment to go back on Monday for more. However, I have just managed to eat 1 and a half corn cobettes and am feeling the lump. Here's hoping this is going to work. Guest guest
Bev I am sure that the fill will kick in, but if it doesn't, good to hear you have a plan B! I wish I was getting a smidge back in tomorrow, would make me feel happier. Oh well, just have to ride this one out.
Guest guest
It is hard ... I don't want to be so restricted that I am limited in my food choices, but at the same time, I don't want to be putting on any more weight. I know how you feel. In some ways, I would like to be able to enjoy Christmas but the other half of me is so peeved that I have put on so much weight and I am now going through the turmoil of having to face people who wouldn't say so, but would probably think "well, that didn't last long". When is your appointment? Bev Send instant messages to your online friends http://au.messenger.yahoo.com
Guest guest
Bev Its tough when you are restricted and you cannot eat – but then what about trying fairy bites – half what you normally have. Reading thru the material and speaking with the dietician (I am still in shock that I even quote one of them after years of bagging them) she seems to be of the opinion that if you halve your bite size you can try just about anything and have relative success. That is what I did with the vege toast last night. I only ate half the slice – but it was enough to give me some satisfaction and some nourishment. I always think, try anything twice, then if it doesn't work you have give it 2 good goes to prove you're wrong. I understand the people that are going to look and say `well that didn't work' but hey – they are probably the same people that point the finger accusing you of taking the easy way out. And you know the thing about the finger pointers is that a) they leave holes in the air and there are 3 fingers pointing straight back at them. This time next year you will be at goal, you will be whrer you want to be for sure. This is just a blip in the radar and is going to be fixed come January. My appointment is on the 10th January. Guest guest
that tortoise needs to get a cracker up it some days ...the slow days are way too frustrating Kell RE: Bev Congratulations Elaine, Slow and steady does seem to be the way. As frustrating as the tortoise diet seems to be.
