Guest guest
Hi all,I'm home recovering from today's outpatient procedure to my spine, and it looks like I have another one coming up in a couple of weeks. It's kinda complicated, but I'm feeling hopeful. Doc says I should be able to resume my normal activities by the beginning of next year, and that if this gets fixed, it shouldn't ever recur. Meanwhile, I get to walk. I am supposed to hold off on anything else. I'm so GLAD I get to walk. It makes me happy. Each time I spend time in that post-op recovery room I can overhear what others are going through, and it's all sorts of sad stories, way worse than mine. Also got a lot of validation. DH was there today. The surgeon told him he married a " stud " , LOL. He explained that he was impressed with the way I had handled the whole thing over such a long stretch. Well, that was cool to hear because it sure has been a challenge. I'll be in bed tomorrow, though. Peace OUT!
