Guest guest
A big HOWDY from Texas, Louise! It would be great to meet someone from the group face to face. I haven't met anyone yet, but I haven't been here very long. Long enough to know this is a great group of people all trying, in our own way, to deal with this goofy disease. Spring (or Spraing as some folks call it) isn't that far away. There are so many freeways & tollways around here that it seems nothing in the Houston area is very far away. I hope your ears are better. I've suffered with ear/nose/throat issues from the time I was a wee pup. When I was 10, my tonsilectomy had to be rescheduled because I had tonsilitus again *LOL*. I was threatened with the tubes in my ears as a child & I had a hissy about it. The ONE time my mothere listened to me..geeesh. Now I wish they would've done it. So, on we go! Take care and congrats on your grandbaby! Barbara in Houston > BTW, When we have the time, I always try to visit with any Stilligans > during our travels if possible. We have met the most wonderful friends > that way. Perhaps we could meet any folks from the Houston area at a > restaurant for a meal and good visiting right after Christmas, maybe 27- > 28 or29th Dec? We will actually be in Spring Tx but we could meet > anywhere near that area. We have many new members that I have not > caught up with, I know Beth and are there and a new person, Barbara > from Houston....anyone else in that area?? I will try to contact you > all in the next week or so. > > Hope you are all having a restful night! Louise.
Guest guest
Hi all, Don, the kids and I arrived home on Tuesday after ten days with my Mum and Dad at their place at Pottsville. Even though Mum and Dad were in Sydney for Christmas (they still have a place here) we went and tortured ourselves. I think it will be the last holiday I spend up there, as much as I really love them Mum and Dad drove me around the bend. My father seemed to follow the kids around the house telling them not to do this and that. So then they sat and played their game boys and he said they weren’t doing much!!!!! It was the first time Don and I had spent together since we reconciled, so we went to Brisvegas for two nights. I should have taken Mum! He was good conversation at times and we did do some good shopping but, there is a long way to go on the road to recovery. I saw a plastic surgeon last year who told me he wanted me to lose 20kg for my tummy tuck to be less of a risk. So that is my mission for this year, and to maintain the level of health I have at the moment. I haven’t fitted or blacked out since November. Like you my hair is frizzy, but I am losing handfuls everyday, so I thought it was the meds. I hope everyone had a Wonderful New Year. (Don was snoring next to me)……. I thought I came back to this……… then I remembered my kids. Sorry to rabbit on for those of you still reading. Anne -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
