Guest guest
Good job, Vennitta!I attempted to give blood twice and both times became very faint and nauseous (and, one time actually barfed..)- and I worried the people that were there b/c I looked and felt like I was going to pass out (sheet white/gray complexion). I think my community service is not to give blood! I do wish I could though - it is a good thing to do!!! I find the same thing about sweets - if I don't have them I don't crave them, once I have them, I want them all the time - darn Halloween candy.... Donna Subject: Did my community dutyTo: "Exercise Videos" <exercisevideos >, "FitFirmies" <FitFirmies >Date: Thursday, November 3, 2011, 9:24 PM I just gave blood and it wasn't until they were about to take my blood did I remember that I had to wait to exercise...and the wait time is 24 hours - Waahhh . I have to keep the bandage on for at least 4 hours....i had a doughnut and juice and now I'm craving more sweets, this is brutal, but, it's so important to donate blood that I'm gong to try to give every 60 days or so. Luckily I got in a morning session, right now I'm so tempted to ignore the instructions and do my second session Vennitta
Guest guest
Yay! I'm a frequent blood donor, too! I often do something light on those days, like just walk, although they can " wipe me out " if my fluid levels are low or something.
