Hi. It's common to have delays in diagnosing arthritis. First because

there are over 100 different types of

arthritis, and also because there is no one specific test to diagnose

it. RA and other rheumatic diseases are

diagnosed by blood tests, x-rays, physical examination and by your

symptoms.

Have you had any blood tests taken or x-rays done? An x-ray or mri

may show if there is bone erosion

going on.
