Wow, going 3x in one week to the chiro sounds serious, Donna!  The most I've seen Dr. No in one week was twice and that was with my serious shoulder injury.  I hope you are okay!Have a WONDERFUL time on your overnight :)  8 years is too long!  Sounds wonderful!

Hugs,

Hi Everyone,

My back is  feeling better - I went in to the chiro again today and everything adjusted nicely. I'm still icing as a precaution. He thinks if I go in next week 3X I should be back on track. Still, I didn't want to push myself too hard today so I did 's 3 Mile Sim & Sleek Walk - the " Pilates " inspired walk. I enjoyed it! Then, I added on 3 segments from 10 min Solution Pilates for Beginners - core, lower body and stretch. I'm optimistic that everything is on the mend!!

DH and I are actually going away overnight this weekend - we haven't done that in 8 years.  We're also planning a good long walk and a hike, which I'm happy about! :)Take care!Donna

Hi Donna,

Enjoy the weekend away!! I don't even remember when DH & I went away together (without kids). We just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary last Sunday too. The kids wanted us to go out to dinner alone (so they could hang out at the house without us and get pizza for dinner) but we dragged them out anyway because we wanted to. Next time though I'll rethink that one (they were fine but we do need some time by ourselves outside of the house too). So have tons of fun!!

Sadly, 3X a week isn't too bad for me, I have gone as often as 4 or 5! I do have really good health insurance that covers it 100% and is unlimited - so I'm sure that is something he takes into account when making these recommendations. On a scale of 1 - 10 this flare up is maybe a 5 or 6...so not terrible at all. My only "10" as last fall when I really, really hurt myself!

He recommends 1X per week for maintenance. Donna

Thanks, ! I'm a little nervous about it, but I'm sure it will be fine. It is just weird to not be taking w/ us. But, it is DH"s "big" 5-0 birthday, and this is what he wanted for his b-day present (so, I guess I should be flattered! :))

It will be nice to be away from the chores, the daily grind, etc. for 24 hours! :)
