Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I am starting my tx on Friday, July 4th and have to say that I am a little freaked out by it. I just got my injections in the mail and it has really kicked in that this is finally going to happen. I had a liver biopsy done last year and I was a stage 3 grade 3, but due to getting over another medical illness I couldn't go on treatment until I finished my antibiotics. So here I am. I go though the class tomorrow afternoon to learn about giving myself the shot, and then see my Stanford liver doc right after that. I will do the shot right before bed on Friday night. My geno is 1a and 1b, and my viral load is about 7 million. I am on 1200mg Ribavarin and Pegasys once a week. I have been reading the site for awhile and know that there is some incedible support here, and am certain that I need to be a part of the group. I have joined up with a hep c support group too in my neighborhood that was recommended to me. I have read to drink plenty of water and get some exercise so I know to do that, any other suggestions or comments are appreciated. Thanks, Steve
