Guest guest
So here is a small idea in the early sprit of the holidays.. Gabby doesnt have many friends but she is into crafts (her own way of course) So last year in one of those parents magazines there was a way to get our kids to " make friends " The idea was that they make their own cards.. simple as possible with things in the house, colors markers, stickers, stamps, cut magazines, printing pictures from the internet anything . if they write they can add anything they want... and then put it in an evelope and send it to their new friend... Gabby got the idea even putting postal stamps in the corner we use alot of fine motor skills and we made new friends.. the other fun part was to open mail... first time she did it.. it was really hard so we helped her.. and then she got to choose where to place her cards in her own display. So we string a cord on her wall and she would hang them there... she got a few on her own and some with help.. but that's a lot of interaction we didnt have before... Now I wonder if anyone is interested in exchange cards with Gabby? and if you do let me know so we can add one more card to our list of friends!
