Yeah, but there is none. I didn't know that before. Last month when I got

the first bottle, Medicare took care of most of that cost, but I didn't know

that either. I know it now!

Dennis,

Have you contacted the manufacturer to see if they have patient

assistance?

The info on the program is on my site:

Dennis, maybe ask your doctor about Norco. It's the most effective pain med for

me--I would say it helped as much as my postsurgical morphine without making me

feel woozy or anything--and when my insurance won't cover it, it costs me about

$50.00. I know that's not peanuts, but it's readily available too. What a

frustrating experience. The 75-mile-round-trip probably didn't do your pain any

good, either. Three meds for $550!!!!! That's downright criminal.

med my new/old Rheumy gave me. It's a controlled narcotic so the scrip has

to be hand carried. I had it filled at the same pharmacy I always use the

same as last month. Today, I couldn't afford it! It seems my $600 Medicare

help is gone, and three meds for one month each was over $550! I had to

refuse them because my SSD doesn't go that far.

The pain med is Avinza. I don't seem able to take Lortab now because it

makes me ill and doesn't help the pain at all. I guess I need other med

suggestions that I can afford. Any ideas I can research?

Thanks, Dennis
