Last month when I got the first bottle, Medicare took care of most of that cost, but I didn't know that either. I know it now! It's the most effective pain med for me--I would say it helped as much as my postsurgical morphine without making me feel woozy or anything--and when my insurance won't cover it, it costs me about $50.00. I know that's not peanuts, but it's readily available too. What a frustrating experience. The 75-mile-round-trip probably didn't do your pain any good, either. Three meds for $550!!!!!
