Ultimately, we have purchased the iPod Touch so she can listen to music and watch videos and not hog our computer and TV all the time! My goal though is that she will eventually use it to increase her communication, so we'll see, and then get an iPad. We were actually able to purchase it thanks to family/friends chipping in for it for her birthday - they are expensive and there is no funding available in our county in WI right now.
