Oh how I love the boring and hum drum and uneventful...I just love routine...it

sems it is hard to ever have a normal week! But so far your wish is happening

here this evening!!

I agree with you about the personal info.....just what you said.....thanks

Annie mom to Wesley

If there were only 20 of us, that would be a great thing to do, but, since there

are many members here who only read the list and don't actively participate, it

would mean that we still don't really know who all would have access to our

personal information.

When this was brought up before, the privacy protection that has been a source

of comfort and security to so many was the reason we decided against it. The

compromise was that, if people wanted to share their information with one

another, they could ask for people to contact them " off the list " by personal

emails.

I think that still makes great sense to me since there are so many of us.

In a way, this has naturally occurred with Facebook. Many folks have friended

one another as a way to share more kinds of info via Facebook, including things

that do not necessarily come up on our list conversations.

Donna? Joan? anything more to add to this?

I just wish for everyone an uneventful, boring, hum-drum night with your family-

no drama, no excitement. Yeah, I wish....!

Be good to yourselves,

Beth

Thanks Liz. We do have some lurkers and have had some 'sales people' as

I think a list with limited info might be good. Something like first name, age

of child and state of residence. That way we could have an idea of who is around

us,if anybody and the age of their child. This is totally selfish on my part

because I do not know of anyone in my state that I can connect with. And I got

a little jealous when so many were talking about a get together :)

I think maybe if we have a list that someone keeps and if anyone would like a

copy, then maybe we need to ask for it so we know who has what information.

That way, it is not posted for everyone but at least we have a main contact list

for emergencies and when others might need information to get them in touch with

another parent.
