Guest guest
Hope it goes well, Heidi. Amazing that they can do this as an outpatient - and it should be a lot easier for her to get over. Margaret, hope Gareth is doing well after his surgery. What a lot he's been through! , welcome to this wonderful group! My son Matteo is now 21 and we live in Italy. I liked what you wrote about the children at your school showing willing and the grown-ups messing things up. Our experience of mainstream schooling was very positive -I can only complain about a few of the grown-ups to be honest, but the kids were consistently great. There was a boy with a diagnosis of autism in the same year as my son, but in a different class. He could disrupt the class at times, and his assistants would take him out when things got too noisy, but the class was very accepting. One of the teachers told the students they should complain about the level of disruption, so they went to the head and complained about her!! ________________________________ Da: " hdauer@... It is outpatient and there is no casting or bracing involved thank goodness! Please keep her in your prayers for a successful surgery and quick recovery, and mom and dad for strength and peace to see this through! Hugs!
